Dr. Sunita Singh Sengupta is an internationally recognized scholar of leadership, organizational behavior, consciousness studies, and Indian knowledge systems whose work integrates ethical leadership, spirituality, human development, and organizational transformation.
She is the Founder and President of ISOL Global Foundation (USA), a global non-profit public benefit organization established to advance interdisciplinary dialogue in the areas of consciousness, leadership, ethics, sustainability, and human flourishing. She is also the Founder of ISOL Foundation and ISOL Research Foundation (India), initiatives dedicated to
research, education, and societal engagement connecting consciousness, value-based leadership, and holistic wellbeing.
Dr. Sengupta previously served as Professor and Dean at the Faculty of Management
Studies, University of Delhi, and earlier as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in
the Behavioral Sciences Group at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. Her academic
career spans teaching, research, institutional leadership, doctoral supervision, and
executive education across India and the United States.
Her scholarly work focuses on consciousness-based leadership, workplace spirituality,
virtue-based management, organizational harmony, and holistic human development. She
has authored and edited numerous books and publications and has contributed extensively
to integrating Indian knowledge systems with contemporary organizational studies.
Her conceptual contributions include the Compassion–Wisdom–Care (CWC) Framework
and Integral Leadership perspectives that promote ethical awareness, reflective wisdom,
and responsible action in organizations and society.
Under her leadership, ISOL initiatives have developed interdisciplinary scholarly platforms
including the International Journal on Vedic Foundations of Management, the International
Journal on Spirituality and Organizational Leadership, and the Compendium on Integrating
Spirituality and Organizational Leadership series.
Dr. Sengupta continues to foster global dialogue connecting ancient wisdom traditions with
contemporary organizational life through research, education, conferences, and
collaborative initiatives across the United States, Canada, Europe, and India.
