India-Centered Initiatives with National and International Collaborations
The ISOL journey began through a series of International Conferences on Integrating Spirituality and Organizational Leadership organized in collaboration with scholars, educators, spiritual leaders, researchers, and practitioners from across the world.
The conferences focused on spirituality and leadership, ethics and governance, consciousness and management, sustainability and social transformation, and value-based approaches to organizational and societal development.
Over the years, the ISOL initiatives gradually evolved into an international interdisciplinary movement connecting academia, spirituality, business, governance, and society.

Theme: Spirituality for Global Economic Development
A major milestone in the ISOL journey emerged during the 5th International Conference on Integrating Spirituality and Organizational Leadership held during September 10–15, 2015 at Fullerton Hall, The Art Institute of Chicago, USA.
The conference was planned as part of the quasi-centenary celebrations of Swami Vivekananda’s historic Chicago lecture and sought to carry the spirit of global harmony, dialogue, spirituality, and human development associated with his message.
Historic milestones during ISOL 2015 included:
• Launch of ISOL Global Foundation
• Announcement of the ISOL Chicago Declaration
• Release of the 10-volume Compendium on Integrating Spirituality and Organizational Leadership
• Expansion of international interfaith and interdisciplinary collaborations
The conference symbolically sought to:

International Conference on Global Climate Change and Eco System Management: Insights from Ancient Wisdom Traditions
In 2017, ISOL expanded its international and interdisciplinary engagement through the conference on Global Climate Change and Eco System Management: Insights from Ancient Wisdom Traditions held in Ontario, Canada.
The conference focused on climate change, ecological sustainability, biodiversity, ancient wisdom traditions, traditional ecological knowledge, and integrative approaches toward environmental responsibility and planetary wellbeing.
This conference marked an important expansion of ISOL’s intellectual engagement into ecology, sustainability, and environmental consciousness.

World Congress on Vedic Foundations of Management Science
Commemorating 125 Years of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Lecture
In 2018, ISOL organized the World Congress on Vedic Foundations of Management Science in Chicago, USA, commemorating 125 years of Swami Vivekananda’s historic Chicago Address delivered in 1893.
The conference brought together scholars, educators, spiritual leaders, researchers, and practitioners interested in:

In response to the unprecedented global disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, ISOL organized the International Conference on Integrating Spirituality and Organisational Leadership in Post-COVID Times in collaboration with Florida International University (FIU), USA.
The conference focused on resilience and inner strength, compassion and ethical leadership, spirituality during times of crisis, organizational responsibility, wellbeing and recovery, and the role of consciousness and values in navigating global uncertainty.
The conference reflected the continuing relevance of spirituality, ethics, and consciousness-centered leadership in addressing emerging global challenges and fostering human wellbeing during periods of disruption and transformation.

The year 2026 marked a renewed phase in the ISOL journey through initiatives focused on holistic organizational sustainability, consciousness studies, wholeness, integral healing, ethical leadership, Indian Knowledge Systems, and human flourishing.
This phase reflected the re-emergence and strengthening of ISOL’s global interdisciplinary engagement connecting India and the international scholarly community.

ISOL Global Foundation launched ISOL Dialogues as a global online platform bringing together scholars, educators, researchers, practitioners, and wisdom traditions for reflective interdisciplinary engagement.
The initiative seeks to foster dialogue across cultures and civilizations, consciousness-centered leadership, integral approaches to healing and wellbeing, ethical and compassionate leadership, and global scholarly collaboration for the flourishing of humanity.
